<p>An alkali metal hydroxide, sulfur, and an oxidated silicon compound are mixed, then heated to just above the melting point of sulfur while agitating for 10 to 30 minutes, thereby producing an alkali metal polysulfide silicate; then it is added to an aqueous solution containing an emulsifying or dispersing agent and is reacted with a polysubstituted organic compound, thereby producing a poly(organic-polysulfide-silicate) copolymer. </p> |
