<p>PURPOSE:To improve producibility by irradiating a veneer with light, by automatically detecting the direction of the grain of wood by detecting the reflected light from the surface, and then by arranging the array direction of the veneer of a floor panel in a desired direction. CONSTITUTION:The surface of veneer 2 is irradiated with light emitted by projection part 4 and reflected light is photo-detected by photo detecting part 5 to detect the quantity of the reflected light. When the grain of veneer 2 is perpendicular to a beam path, the quantity of the reflected light is large, but when agreeing, it is small. The quantity of reflected light, i.e., the quantity of detected light of photo detection part 5 is checked and the position of a floor panel which has not been arranged in the fixed direction is pointed out, thereby replacing it in the arrangement direction.</p> |
