Swivel bending machine for metal sheets - where worker can turn hand wheel to adjust limit stop controlling the length of the sheet entering the bending cheeks

Machine has two side pillars supporting a rigid lower traverse, and an upper cheek which is vertically adjustable. The bending cheek can be swiveled on its horizontal, longitudinal axis. On the rear side of the machine is a workpiece limit stop, which can be adjusted via a handwheel mounted on one of the pillars, the latter also carrying a graduated scale indicating the position of the limit stop. The handwheel is pref. used to move a chain, both ends of the latter being fixed to guide driven along a guide bar; and one guide bar is mounted on each side pillar. The overall result is that a worker can easily slide a larger metal sheet through the gap between cheeks until the sheet reaches the limit stop.
