The signal transmission system with a system of amplifiers for pulse regeneration, uses two transmission lines (A1, A2) formed by the inner conductors of coaxial cables for inwardly and outwardly travelling signals. Two lines (B1, B2) are formed by the outer conductors. The intermediate amplifiers (ZWV 11 to 14) include amplifiers (VR) for pulse regeneration and amplification. The lines can be connected to a local power supply (Ort) or remote supply (Fsp), each with symmetrical output resistances (Rs). Each amplifier has a diode (D11 to D14) corresponding poled, with a series resistance (Rm), for the positive connecting line, and an oppositely poled diode (D21 to 24) and resistance for the negative connection. The diodes and resistances in series are connected to the outer conductors in a symmetrical arrangement. Further resistances (Rb) are inserted in both outer and inner lines between the amplifier stages.
|
