摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the light emission preparation time of flash discharge lamp by charging a capacitor through conduction of a switching circuit after going out of the flash discharge lamp. CONSTITUTION:The high-speed charging circuit Z consisting of transistors TR301-TR303, resistances R301-R312, integrating circuits IC1, IC2 is connected to a xenon discharge tube T and timer circuit Y. As a result of this, when a trigger switch SW goes ON, a trigger capacitor C2 discharges through a chattering preventing circuit X. Then, a thyristor SCR1 conducts to cause the xenon discharge tube T to generate. After the lapse of the decision time by the timer circuit Y, the thyristor CR1 becomes nonconducting to stop light emission. When the discharging of the capacitor C4 completes and the thyristor SCR2 becomes nonconducting, the capacitor C4 is charged at a high speed by way of the transistor TR302, resistance R309, capacitor C4 and resistance R5. Hence, the time from the light emission stop of the xenon discharge tube T up to the completion of the next light emission preparation is reduced.
