<p>A device for a platform (12) of a track or similar vehicle for the purpose of releasably connecting two parts which are movable in relation to each other, such as a flap (2) and a stanchion (1) or a stanchion and the platform. In order to obtain as simple and inexpensive but dependable and durable construction as possible the device consists of only two sections, preferably made of aluminium: A link section (3; 13) and a locking section (5; 18), the former pivoted at its lower end on a first part (the stanchion 1) and the latter pivoted at its lower end on the former and provided at its upper end with a pin (8; 20) for engagement with a recess (9; 21) in a second part (the flap 2 or the platform 12). Owing to the inherent resilience of the sections, the pivot between the link and the locking sections may be snapped across a neutral line to bring about a secure locking of the device. </p> |
