Testing of telecommunication equipment is carried out by unscrewing of the unit from the frame. This is followed by its replacement with the measuring and checking unit provided with a connector strip at its back. The electric connection is achieved by insertion of the connector to the corresp. socket of the withdrawn channel changer. The extended part of the tester includes operating and indicating units and projects outside.
