<p>Modular design of heat transfer elements made in the shape of plates or curved units ensures low-cost mfr. and eliminates cross connecting pipes. The setting results in a uniform temp. distribution for incorporation in ovens or furnaces. The curved heat pipes include an outer tube with inner wall contacting the cylindrical wick and the filling with heat transfer fluid. The wick is made of a metal fabric, and the surface covering of the plate is achieved by meander curving of the heat pipe. The resistance heating wire may be electrically insulated from the heat pipe or may contact it as well as the wick layer.</p> |
