摘要 <p>A measuring device is for the distance between two or more measurement points in the line image of an image display operating with raster images generated by line and image sweep generators. The vertical and horizontal separation coordinate distances are derived as proportional signals from the image and line sweep signals used to generate the image. The actual line sweep and image swwp voltages for each measurement point are determined depending on their times of occurrence. The two successive separation distance components are determined from the time interval. Difference values derived from actual values are squared and summed to provide the square of the point separation. The diference values may be derived by subtraction or integration over the separation integral.</p>
