The pressure-sealed door for explosion protection has a door leaf fixed to a frame or aperture to cut off a space where explosions are liable to take place. Between the door leaf and the frame (4) there is a gas conduit channel (19) which conducts explosion pressure gas into the free atmosphere away from the space or chamber. This channel is in a plane parallel to the door leaf. The gas conduit channel (19) is sealed by an arrangement (18) which is destructible when an explosion occurs, and is fitted on both long sides of the door leaf. The door leaf is reinforced along the gas conduit channel (19) by four-sided tubes (12).
