The film cassette for a set of flat light sensitive film strips, has a casing made of non-transparent material designed for easy handling of the strips and insertion into and removal from the camera. It has a slit shaped opening one end matching the size of the strips. The outside incorporates ribs and slots across one face, so that it can be bent. In futher designs, the housing consists of a curved top layer retained between flanges along the edges of a thin resilient bottom layer, with ribs on the inside of the top layer acting as spacers against the strips fo easy removal. A continuous outer layer can form a pouch within a shallow U-shaped spacer inside acting as a guide. The base can be corrugated for resilience.
