<p>1. Locking device to be stud for a leaf of window, door or the like, comprising a box (2) in two parts adjoining in a longitudinal plan of the locking device and leaning one against the other, said box (2) providing the housing of a door-knob hole (9), the latter being actuated by an external working means ; a head (20) rigidly secured on the front of the box (2) and intended to re-cover a longitudinal groove cut on the edge of the leaf ; two locking rods (19, 27) approximately situated on the tangent to the body of the door-knob hole (9), each in the extension of the other and intended to be moved in said groove ; driving means (12, 13, 14) converting the rotation of at least a quater turn of the door-knob hole (9) into a simultaneous translation of equal stroke and in opposite directions of each of the two locking rods (19, 27) ; the said driving means of the door-knob hole (9) with the first locking rod (19) consisting of teeth (12, 13, 14) projecting beyond the body of the door-knob hole (9) and directly engaging with corresponding apertures (15, 16, 17) formed in the end (18) near the door-knob hole (9) of the first locking rod (19) ; the driving means of the door-knob hole (9) with the second locking rod (27) consisting of a non compressible flexible member (23) which is secured to each of ends (18, 26) near the door-knob hole (9) of the locking rods (19, 27) ; which makes a loop around the door-knob hole (9) ; which is guided in a passage (31) realized in the box (2) comprising a circular groove (32) around the door-knob hole (9) extending towards the second locking rod (27) by a groove of inverse curve and ending at its both ends by two straight grooves (33, 34) oriented in the same direction, being parallel with the two locking rods (19, 27) and having a length at least equal to this of the stroke of the two locking rods (19, 27) ; and which comprises apertures (28, 29, 30) for allowing the passage of the teeth (12, 13, 14) of the door-knob hole (19) driving the first rod (19).</p> |
