PURPOSE:To reduce a time loss caused by exchange of works by providing a control device for controlling elevation, driving etc. of shafts to which works are fitted exchangeably in a gyro finisher wherein grinding is performed by rotating the works in a tank containing grinding materials. CONSTITUTION:When every shafts 2a, 2b... are fitted with works and lowered, clutches 55 and 56 are engaged to rotate a chain wheel through a chain, which leads to gearing rotation of shafts 2. When the shaft 2a for the work is found in the frontal position where the work is to be fitted and is located, together with the left- hand shaft, in the position of elevation, i.e. the position of elevation of pistons of cylinders 44a and 44b, clutches are disengaged and the shaft stops rotation. Then the work 1a... is fitted and, by operating the piston of the cylinder 44a, the work 1a is lowered in a tank 47 containing grinding materials. Simultaneously, a turret 5 is rotated to move the following shaft for the work to the frontal position for fitting the work. |
