PURPOSE:To manufacture a laver screen having different laver-adhesivity for the obverse and the reverse surfaces, by binding reeds having laver-adhesivity to form a laver screen, and heating one face of the screen or heating both faces under different conditions. CONSTITUTION:The surface of reeds (thin tubes) made of a synthetic resin, e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene-propylene copolymer, etc. is imparted with high laver-adhesivity by conventional method to form hydroxyl groups, carboxyl groups, etc. at the surface, such as flame treatment, UV treatment, etc. The reeds are bound to obtain a laver screen. The objective screen is prepared by heating only one surface of the above screen, or by heating both faces under different conditions. |
