PURPOSE:To simplify a structure and enable to effect an impact printing by a method wherein a plurality of ink-on-demand type ink jet heads are mounted on a left- and-right moving device moving in a direction vertical to a moving direction of a recording paper with intervals. CONSTITUTION:A head body 29 is secured to a guide plate 3 and is moved in left- and-right direction as shown by arrow signs 36 by a groove 11a of a cylindrical cam 11. A recording paper 6 is also moved by a paper feeding roller 7 cooperating with the cylindrical cam 11. The printing head body 29 is provided with ink jet heads 30a-30f in parallel and nozzles 31a-31f are provided therefor. The ink jet heads 30 are moved in a direction designated by arrow signs 36 and are synchronized with print synchronizing signals of a receptor element 20, thereby, print picture elements or letters by injecting ink. A printing angle of the printing head 29 is corrected by moving a guide pin 40 of the guide plate 3 upwardly and downwardly as shown by arrow signs 41 by means of a plunger 37 and a spring 38, and thus, printings on normal printing locations are effected. |
