In a system for processing color televion signals including chrominance signals and a reference subcarrier signal, hue correction apparatus comprises a means which has a first input responsive to the reference subcarrier signal and a second input responsive to the chrominance signals, signal modulating means responsive to the control signal for passing a selected amplitude portion of the chrominance signals, signal combining means responsive to the reference subcarrier signal for providing a corrected reference subcarrier, and biasing means coupled to the signal modulating means for restricting output of the selected amplitude portion of the chrominance signals.
