PURPOSE:To lighten the load for a controlling circuit and obtain stable operation by controlling the direction of the combined magnetic field generated through controlling the excitation of the coils of a magnetic field generating means and controlling the ignition timing through varying the magnetic flux variation timing. CONSTITUTION:When a DC current Ix is supplied to the series circuit of the coils 900 and 901 which are wound on circular magnetic paths 800 and 801 by a power source 910, a magnetic field Hx which crosses at right angle with the magnetic field Hy due to permanent magnet is generated in the space surrounded by circular magnetic paths 800 and 801 and permanent magnets 902 and 903. The combined magnetic field Htheta of the magnetic fields thus formed acts at an angle theta. Here, if a rotor 801 having four projections is revolved, the magnetic flux of the coils 900 and 901 and the voltage induced at the point A are shown in the figure. Only the DC fraction of the voltage thus obtained at the point A is introduced into an amplifier 5 through a condenser 8, and an ignition coil 6 is energized. The control of the ignition timing is performed by controlling a power source 910. |
