SOUND RECORDING AND REPRODUCING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To make it possible to record sound signals and a video signal on the same track by alternately sampling sound signals of channels by using sampling pulses of a higher frequency than that of a horizontal synchronizing signal and then by recording and reproducing them in time-division mode. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal synchronizing signal separated by horizontal synchronizing separator circuit 1 is inputted to PLL2 to obtain a signal of a frequency multiplied by (n), which is inputted to sampling control circuit 3 together with the output of circuit 1. Different sound signals inputted to analog switches 41 and 42 are alternately sampled and mixed by circuit 3 and composed by adder circuit 5 to obtain a time-division multiplex signal, which is mixed by mixer circuit 7 via FM modulation circuit 6 with a video signal before being supplied to magnetic head 9 via recording amplifier circuit 8. A time-division multiplex signal obtained by separating the regenerated signal of head 9 by separator circuit 12 has its horizontal synchronizing signal separated by horizontal synchronizing separator circiut 15 and it is supplied to sampling con trol circuit 17; and circuit 17 and analog switches 181 and 182 perform completely the opposite operation to that of the recording system to extract sound signals of two channels.
