<p>PURPOSE:To equalize the current distribution by simple winding, by using broad conductors, with the conductors for star connection of one turn, and with those for delta connections of two turns; providing a portion wherein the number of turns is adjusted in the delta-connection side; and connecting both conductors for star and delta connections so that their positions are shifted each other for every section. CONSTITUTION:In the first section, flat conductors 18 and 19 for delta connection are wound one time, and a flat conductor 26 is wound for star connection one time at the outside. The height of the conductor 26 is the same as that of the two conductors 18 and 19, and the cross-sectional area of the conductor 26 is made larger so as to accommodate the current 3<1/2> times larger than the current in the delta connection. The conductor 18 and 19 for the delta connection are connected by a jumper conductor 30, the conductor 19 is connected to a conductor 20 for the delta connection in the second section by a conductor 31, and conductors 26 and 27 for star connection are connected by a conductor 32. Then, the procedure for shifting inside out and vice versa is repeated to form 4 sections. Conductors 22 and 23 and conductors 36 and 37 are connected in parallel to obtain 7 turns in the delta connection. In this constitution, the current flows evenly in both portions, in series, and its distribution is uniform owing to the parallel coils 22 and 23.</p> |
