An elongated projector lamp (42) for mounting along the axis of a projector has a hemispherical cap (44) at one end for mounting in a cup-like support of the projector and at the other end a cylindrical cap over which can slide a disc, intended to engage on an annular support of the projector. A spring is compressed between the disc and a shoulder of the cap to bias the hemispherical cap towards the cup when the lamp is mounted in the projector. This type of mounting allows radially and longitudinal adjustment of the lamp by rotation of the caps and axial displacement of the hemispherical caps. |
