PURPOSE:To correct distortion completely and then give versatility to elements differing in distortion value by branching analogically-modulated light into two and then by mixing the both after delaying one branched light. CONSTITUTION:Laser diode LD1 is driven by an analog signal from analog signal source S and light from LD1 is made by lens L1 into parallel light, which is branched into two by half mirror HM; one branched light passes through prism P and is reflected by mirror M to strike lens L2, and the other branched light strikes directly lens L2. Light from lens L2 is therefore composed of two branched light beams, and moving prism P adequately as shown by the arrow makes an adjustment of the degree of delay (phase difference), so that light with distortion corrected completely will strike fiber F0. |
