PURPOSE:To accelerate evaporation prior to or after completion of warming and maintain high filling efficiency by effectively heating the intake manifold riser part through the utilization of exhaust pulsation prior to the completion of warming and filling the interior of an air chamber with air after completion of warming to avoid heating of the riser part. CONSTITUTION:Prior to the completion of warming, the valve body 40 of a temperature sensor selector valve 12 closes the negative part 42 and opens the air port 43. Accordingly, into the negative pressure chamber 24, air is introduced, and the valve body 43 is closed through a diaphragm 23. In this case, exhaust gas repeatedly flows into and out from the inside of an air chamber 22 through the opening 17 of a partition plate 18 due to the pulsation of exhaust gas generated in an exhaust manifold 8. As a result, the riser part 21 is heated by exhaust gas, and the evaporation of liquid fuel on the inner wall surface of the intake manifold 4 is accelerated. On the other hand, if engine warming is completed, the valve body 40 opens the negative pressure port 42, and negative pressure is introduced into the negative pressure chamger 24, then the valve body 30 is opened, and the air from an air pump 11 is supplied into the air chamber 22. |
