<p>PURPOSE:To connect wiring systems or the like extremely safely in a short time without requiring manual labor by mating the joint bottom opening making spherical engagement with a ladle and the joint top opening of the balance holder with horizontal moving mechanism making spherical engagement with a ladle support device. CONSTITUTION:At the ladle exchanging of continuous casting work, its trunnion 3 is lowered and placed on a ladle support frame 4 while it is being positioned to a certain degree by a guide 5. Just before this, the joints B, A mounted to the frame 4 and ladle 2 respectively are mounted. This mounting and bonding are accomplished by fitting the casing 8-1 of the latter into the casing 8-2 of the former, at which time if there is a fitting deviation the expanded part of the latter contacts. As the ladle descends, action is given by the horizontal or vertical type balancer pins 20-1, 20-2 of a balance holder C by the deviated component thereof, and the both casings are automatically corrected of their relative positions while tilting and moving transversely and longitudinally. The action of spherical bushings 9-1, 9-2 assists this. In this way, wiring and piping systems 15-1, 15-2, 10-1, 10-2 are connected.</p> |
