A hand-loom of the shaft type with a permanent stand (1) and a detachable mounted frame or shaft (2) where the frame supports a handle mechanism (5) with vertically displaceable shaft (27) as well as other devices for the handling of warp (5) and weave, while the stand (1) supports a pedal mechanism (3) to activate the loom's shaft (27) with a number of pedals (37) treadle set, which are at least as large as the number of shaft (27), whereby each pedal (37) treadle is arranged to activate a shafts (27) each through displacement upwards of each to achieve a warp thread shed with the desired threading depending on which pedal treadle or which combination of pedals treadles that are affected, and where each pedal (37) treadle has a separate locking mechanism arranged to automatically lock the pedal (37) treadle in the depressed position regardless on the effect on the other pedals treadles, and where the stand (1) also supports a release pedal (38) break treadle, which is connected to the mentioned lock mechanisms for the pedals treadles in such a way, that when depressed releases all locked pedals (37) treadles in the depressed position whereby all the shafts (27) return to their original positions.<IMAGE> |
