PURPOSE:To avoid a malfunction when the polarity of correlation spike in changed by devising the receiver such that a peak value of a correlation spike is held surely during one period of the correlation spike and even the fluctuation of a peak value can be followed. CONSTITUTION:A digital peak hold circuit 16 is constituted, which compares the output (c) of an A/D converter 2 with the data (f) of a latch circuit 4 sequentially to update the data (f) storing the latch circuit 4, thereby obtaining the maximum value of the output (c) of the A/D converter 2. The latch circuit 4 clears the content (f) stored by a clear signal (e) at every period of correlation spike to apply peak hold for one period of a new correlation spike. Then even when there is the output fluctuation of a correlation device due to the fluctuation of an input level, accurate peak holding is applied. |
