The actuating spindle (6) of the vice can be rotated on the one hand between an initial clamping position and a clamping position dependent upon the clamping state of the vice and on the other hand between the initial clamping position and a quick-motion position. The spindle (6) is mounted in a clamping bush (9) which is guided with a clamping thread (9.1) in a bearing piece (8) fixed to the vice. In the quick-motion position, the spindle (6) is freely displaceable in the clamping bush (9) in the axial direction. Otherwise, it is locked at the clamping bush (9) against axial adjustments. In addition, between the initial clamping position and the clamping position, the spindle (6) and the clamping bush (9) are connected to one another in a positive-locking manner in the direction of rotation, but in the initial clamping position itself they are connected to one another in a positive-locking manner only in the direction of rotation corresponding to the clamping. <IMAGE> |
