PURPOSE:To produce a powder having small bulk specific gravity and high solubility to cold water, by blending sugar, etc., with a specific amount of forming agent composition and water, drying and solidifying the blend while expanding under specific reduced condition at specific temperature and then pulverizing the blend. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of 0.01-50pts.wt. foaming agent composition with water is added to 50-99.99pts.wt. sugar and/or sugar alcohol and the blend is uniformly stirred to foam the blend. Then the foamed blend is dried and solidified while expanding under reduced pressure of 300-1Torr at -5 deg.C - melting point or below of sugar and/or sugar alcohol and then pulverized to provide the powder having small bulk specific gravity. The above-mentioned forming agent is preferably mixture of sugar fatty acid ester, glycerin fatty acid ester, sorbitan fatty acid ester, lecithin, saponin, bile acid, gums, carboxymethylcellulose, starch, dextrin, etc. |
