PRODUCTION OF NATURAL BLUE DYESTUFF HAVING CLEAR COLOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a large amount of a light-colored blue dyestuff, by reacting an iridoid glycoside of a plant belonging to the genus Gardenia with a primary amino group-containing compound under given conditions in the presence of beta-glucosidase or a microorganism. CONSTITUTION:An iridoid glycoside of a plant belonging to the genus Gardenia is reacted with a primary amino group-containing compound in the presence of beta-glucosidase or a microorganism as a system to reduce water solubility of blue dyestuff formed in the reaction system to produce a blue dyestuff. Or a primary amino group-containing compound having low water solubility or primary amino group-containing substance having low water solubility or primary amino group-containing compound having high molecular weight is reacted with an iridoid glycoside of gardenia or a substance containing the iridoid glycoside to produce a light-colored natural blue dyestuff.
