A method of rolling & fixing the edge of large angled can is preceeded by following processes of; i) cutting off 4 corners of a rectangular body plate at the ratio of height: width=1:2 (the width is equal to the usual one), ii) joining the edge portions of the plate together to form a can body, iii) rolling upper edge protion & lower edge portion of a can body to form a twofold flange(1a), respectively, iv) and then rolling & fixing the circumference portion(2a) of a cover plate(2) with the flange(1a) according as the joined portion is inserted to the cavity(4) of a chuck(3) & is pressed to be airtight.
