The physiological, thermographic detecting machine has a multiple sensor positioning unit (2) which limits a starting area, and which incorporates a number of independent heat-sensitive units (24). These later units are positioned in accordance with a selected pattern, and independent signals emanate from them related to the heat condition of the body of the patient being examined. A digital memory unit (7) works with a read-out device for recording signals from it in according with an ample recognition programme, for the production of an automatic determination of the significant presence of these signals. A coded signal indicating the diagnostic result can then be interpreted.
