PURPOSE:To improve measurement precision and stabilize performance by using the zinc iodide particles obtained by iodizing the zinc particles in which zinc wires are cut off as negative electrode active materials. CONSTITUTION:The negative electrode 5 mixes the zinc iodide particles 6' obtained by iodizing the zinc particles in which zinc wires are cut off and the paste of polyacrylic acid. It is desirable that the zinc wires with a wire diameter of less than 0.5mm should be cut off as the zinc particles which are used as the negative electrode 5 and that the cut-off length be 0.8-1.5 times the wire diameter. This enables the ununiformity proportion of measurement to be reduced and the measurement precision to be improved. |
