PURPOSE:To supply hot air of uniform temperature to a drying chamber and to shorten the drying time, by arranging a burner and a combustion cylinder at right angles with respect to the inlet of a blower built into the combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:A burner 1 and a combustion cylinder 12 of steel plate are arranged at right angles with respect to the inlet of a blower 14 for hot air supply. A flame buffle plate 13 is placed opposite to the end of a combustion cylinder 12. The hot oxygen-free inert gas generated by the combustion chamber increases in temperature and decreases the relative humidity of the circulating inert gas and is mixed with the fresh inert gas by the plate 13. The gas which has become uniform in temperature is then sucked and supplied by the blower 14 to the drying chamber. The dry hot air is forced to pass through the gaps between the plates 25 suspended by the basket 15, so that the plates are heated and dehydrated. This apparatus supplies hot air of uniform temperature to the drying chamber and shortens the drying time of the plates. |
