PURPOSE:To avoid an traffic accident by providing signal lamps on the both sides and on the rear side of a car for mutual appreciation among a driver, pedestrian walking across a road and driver in a succeeding car. CONSTITUTION:A stop signal lamp 9 and pedestrian walking signal lamp 10 are equipped on the both sides of a car and another pedestrian walking signal lamp 10 is in the rear of it. After a pedestrian trying to walk across a road gives a hand signal to a driver, the driver stops the car and lights the stop signal lamp. Then the stop signal is turned off and the pedestrian walking signal lamp is switched on to light. Simultaneously the pedestrian walking signal lamp on the rear side of the car is on to notify the succeeding car of the pedestrian's crossing, thereby preventing the succeeding car from striking or passing ahead. |
