PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the occurrence of bad smell environmental pollution by rescattering of sulfide, by adding mineral acids to the liquid to be treated and carrying out aeration and then, carrying out a fixed treatment by heang and decomposing generated hydrogen sulfide. CONSTITUTION:The sulfuric acid water solution 1b is fed to the exhaust liquid to be treated 1a and is mixed and then, the weak acidic mixed exhaust liquid 1c is introduced into the aeration vessel 4 and aeration is carried out by feeding the compressed air 5a. On this occasion, pH of the aeration vessel staying liquid 1d is regulated at 6-7. Then, the aeration air 5 is introduced into the hating furnace 9 and contained hydrogen sulfide is heated and decomposed and then, hydrogen sulfied is converted into sulfurous acid gas after removing mist in the air by the mist catcher 8. Next, the air 5d is introduced into the washing tower 10 and the caustic soda water solution 1g is circulated and contacted controlling pH at 8-9. Contained sulfurous acid gas is absorbed and removed as sulfurous acid ion and hydrogen sulfite ion and then, the purified air 5 is discharged. A part of the solution 1g is discharged as the overflow solution 1h and is mixed with the overflow solution 1e from the vessel 4 and then, mixed solution is discharged as 1i. |
