<p>The external vehicle rear mirror is self cleaning without manual effort. The mirror surface is kept clean by a double notched belt joined by flexible bars and which are in contact with the glass. There are also six notched rollers to grip the belt edges. The roller notches receive the bars and can apply light tension to the belt. Two of the rollers are driven by an electric or air motor, through reduction gear. Electric or hot water defrosting can also be included to clean the mirror.</p> |
