PURPOSE:To reduce material loss by minimizing the foamig material leaked from a vent and by facilitating a post treatment of the foamed material by providing with a vent wherein the cavity side has a small diameter. CONSTITUTION:A gas vent 1 is provided for removing the gas retained in the cavity of the foamed molding die comprising the upper die 2 and the lower die 3. Then, the cross section of the vent 1 allows to make smaller diameter at the cavity side to define a reversed cone shape, the point 6 of a small diameter side forming an acute angle edge with 0.1-3mm diameter normally. When the die 2 and the die 3 are opened after foaming molding, the molded article 4 and the foamed material 7 are cut smoothly at the small diameter edge 6 of the vent hole 1, allowing to prevent the vent from getting blocked, which facilitates to remove the foamed material. |
