<p>The electromagnetic servo has a pinion (2) attached to the rotor (3) of a 3 phase asynchronous electric motor rigidly mounted in a housing (5). The rotation of the pinion causes translation of a threaded rod (1). Two coupling lugs (7, 8) are respectively attached to the end of this rod and to the opposite end of the housing (5). The operation of the threaded rod and the pinion may be reversed. Pref. an electromagnetic coupling (9... 14) is provided for connection of the rotor with the housing when the electric motor is not being supplied with current. The coupling lug (7) associated with the housing is pref. acted on by a return spring (15) with adjustable tension.</p> |
