PURPOSE:To enable to deflect the antenna beam with a little degradation of performance, by the beam deflection while fixing the power supply horn. CONSTITUTION:The main reflection mirror 1 is the spherical mirror of radius R taking the point O as the center, and the sub-reflection mirror 5 is the mirror plane symmetrical for rotation. The electromagnetic waves from the direction of the mirror axis 4 is reflected at the main reflection mirror 1 so that the electromagnetic waves reflected at the sub-reflection mirror 5 are those from the point O equivallently. Next, the electromagnetic waves the focus of which is toward the phase center F1 of the power feeding horn 3 are collected to the phase center F1 of the power feeding horn 3. On the other hand, if the electromagnetic waves tilted from the mirror axis 4 are incoming, when the sub-reflection mirror 5 is turned around the point O by this tilt angle, the electromagnetics can also be collected to the phase center F1 of the power feeding horn 3. Since the range of radiation is shifted depending on the direction of the electromagnetic waves incoming, the mirror plane can be taken greater. |
