Modular support grid for equipment rack cables - is assembled from square frames bolted together at corners

A support grid for the cabling of racks in exchange equip. rooms is constructed from a number of identical square frames joined together at each corner with one screw. Each frame is built up from four tubular rods and four right-angle corner pieces. The latter have spigots which push into the tubes and are secured by pressing, pinning, welding, crimping or swaging. Half the thickness of each corner piece is cut away to mate with the corner of a neighbouring frame, so that all frames will lie in the same plane. The mating face of each corner piece is grooved to make the joint rigid when the fixing screw is tightened. Holes drilled through the corner pieces for the fixing screws have sufficient clearance to provide a working tolerance when assembling grids.
