PURPOSE:To prepare an easily handleable and drinkable green water oat tea of uniform quality containing marine product mineral, good for health, by steaming small pieces of water oat leaves immersed in water at a given temperature, by rapidly cooling, loosening, completely drying, and pulverizing the pieces, and by adding the marine product minerae to the powder. CONSTITUTION:The leaves of the water oat about 3cm long are immersed in water for 5min or longer, and the harshress is removed. After washing, the leaves are sterilized at 70 deg.C or above, preferably 100-130 deg.C, for 20sec-20min, to move chlorophyll to the surface and to soften the cellulose. The softened leaves are rapidly cooled, e.g. instantaneously with ventilation, and loosened by a rolling unit to break the celes, to level the moisture, and to increase the aroma. The leaves are then roughly dried by blowing with hot air to a degree of drying of about 80%, then completely dried, crushed, and then pulverized. Marine product mineral in a dried state equal to or better then the leaves are added and mixed with the powder to give the objective green water oat tea containing mineral. |
