PURPOSE:To reduce the start time of system, by operating the amplifier with optimum value for the AGC circuit, even if the reception signal is tentatively not incoming the ON-LINE operation, in the relay unit in the station of data highway system. CONSTITUTION:In the reception section of the relay unit, after the output amplifying the input signal at the amplifier 500 at the maintenance and adjustment by means of the smoothing circuit 502 constituting the AGC circuit 509, it is compared with the reference value at the comparison circuit 503 and the control circuit 506 outputs optimum data to the D/A converter 505 with the output and it is stored in the memory 504 to control the gain of the amplifier 500 and the value optimumly adding and subtracting the compensation value according to the environmental change during the ON-line operation is respectively stored in the memory 504. In the relay unit, the timing is picked up from the input signal to form the timing for identification and reproduction. Further, the gain of the amplifier amplifying the reception signal and transmitted from the reproduction and delivery section is controlled in optimum value at the start of ON-line. |
