<p>Fur-dyeing with oxidn. dyes and simultaneous "silvering" of hair ends is achieved by simultaneously or consecutively treating the furs with polyvalent metal salts, 4 -amino-2'-methoxy-diphenylamine, or its salts, and with a condensn. prod. (I) of HCHO, aldol, resorcinol and cresolsulphonic acid, in an aq. dye-bath. The process can be applied to light-coloured furs, e.g. rabbit, white fox, etc. The oxidn. dyes are non-toxic and do not damage the hair. Transition from silvered tip to dark background appears natural.</p> |
