Portable pump-motor set - has plastics casing and walling separating suction and pressure chambers

The pump/motor set has the pump's suction chamber (10) located between the electromotor (1) and the radial pump wheel (4) surrounding the motor's shaft. The pressure chamber (14) is located at the end of the casing that does not have the motor. All the components including the walls of the pressure chamber are of plastics. The suction line is connected to a tubular part of the suction chamber forming a handgrip (18). The pressure chamber (14) has a smaller cross-section in the pump's axial direction than the casing. The pressure chamber is partially surrounded by a space (33) carrying cooling air from the shaft side to the collector side through the motor. The radial pump's guide vanes (20) are formed on the wall (9) sepg. the suction and pressure chambers.
