Locating a container or cabinet containing electrical or electronic equipment inside a housing (2) is carried out by locking devices (4) to prevent the cabinet from moving and to reduce vibration. Each device has an inverted U-shaped housing with its top (8) secured by screws (6) to the housing. This houses a spring clip and a roller (20) forming a tensioning system. The roller is mounted on a spindle (14) passing through vertical slots (12) through the sides (10) of the housing, permitting upwards and downwards travel of the roller. The spindle is held down by the two nearly horizontal ends (26) of the spring clip. The clip then bends upwards to terminate in a horizontal loop under the top of the housing.
