PURPOSE:To inspect the light and shade of a laver sheet-forming stock and to adjust the stock concentration, by circulating the mixed stock through a meter having a filtering function, and by detecting the weight of semi-dewatered laver material remaining in the meter. CONSTITUTION:The laver material 3 and water 5 are fed to the tank 1 in given amounts respectively to prepare the sheet-forming stock 2. The stock 2 is then pumped from the circulation pipe 2, auxiliary tank 12, into the meter 14, and made to flow from the trough 13 down to the main tank 1. After circulation of the stock 2, the pump 12 is stopped. The stock 2 passing through the meter 14 in circulation is drained and dewatered in a given time into a semi-dewatered state via the filtering mechanism of the meter 14. The weight of laver remaining in the meter 14 is detected by the units 18 e.g. a differential transformer or photosensor electrically to indicate the light and shade of the stock 2 in reference to the standard value. |
