PURPOSE:To get rapid switching with a spare machine by a method wherein means of switching for the third terminal of each transformer including the spare one are integrated in an elephant case. CONSTITUTION:The third terminal 3 and a cable head 4 are integrated in an elephant case 2 and a cable 5 which is connected with a cable head connects each transformers. The third terminal, which is of a wall-bushing type, is protruded into the case 2 and the cable head is also protruded and connection is made with a lead wire 6. The work is performed through a hand hole 7. When a transformer is on operation the third terminal 3 and a cable head 4 are connected with a lead wire 6 as illustrated in the figure B and when a transformer is on spare condition cable heads 4 are connected together with a lead wire 6 as illustrated in the figure C. By that method the work can be simple because repeated lying of the cable for the third terminal is eliminated on switching to delta connection. |
