<p>The circuit is for storing the maximum value of an electrical voltage applied at its input has capacitor connected in parallel with a switch and has a comparator with inputs connected to one side of the capacitor and a circuit input. It is designed to ensure that operational amplifier and diode characteristics do not degrade the accuracy of the relationship between the stored and actual maximum values. The diode is conventionally connected between the capacitor and the output of the comparator which contains the operational amflifier. The capacitor (3) terminal (6) connected to the comparator (9) input (10) is also connected to the circuit input (1) via an extra switch (7) operated by a controller (19) and by the comparator output (11) via a potential divider circuit (12, 13) and tapping resistor (15).</p> |
