The door (1) has on its hinge-adjacent part a handle (7) swinging during the opening and closing operation of the door around the vertical axis. The door handle (7) is connected with the locks (3) by a bowden line (5) with its sheeting fixed in points (5a) and 5b) while the far end of the core connects to lever (6) which is the operating element of the lock. At a suitable point a swivelling clip (8) keeps the bowden line (5) in place which, instead of connecting door handle (7) and lock (3) in a straight line connects the two elements in an S-shape hereby avoiding the possibility that after an accident the door handle is not put out of action due to a crushed condition of the door skin.
