<p>The cool room is used esp. for cool storage of vegetables, fruit and other bulk materials, in the absence of a cellar. The room or cell unit has walls, ceiling and floor made from two types of slab element. One type comprises panels of prescribed thickness and width, with a stepped edge cutout on one side of alf thickness, and corresponding cutouts on three edges on the other side. The second type are of a different width, with cutouts on all four edges on one side, half as deep and wide as the thickness. Doors consist of a hinged panel of one of these two types. Construction and assembly are simple and inexpensive.</p> |
