The movable table-top can be used to extend the table surface, or as a seat or a separate table. The table top has two U-shaped frames (7, 8) with the 'U' sides forming the legs of a four-legged table. The sides of a rectangular, auxiliary flaps are hinged (13, 14) to the frames (7, 8). The side of the auxiliary flap facing the table top has hinges (2, 3) on the underneath side of the table top. Metal angle pieces (15, 16) positioned on the underneath surface of the table top support the frames (7, 8). A bolt (17, 18) fixed on one of the sides (9, 12) of the U-shaped frames bolt them behind the arms of the metal angle pieces (15, 16).
